Dans son numéro de novembre/décembre, Revue d'architecte a annoncé les gagnants du 2023 Residential Design Awards, recognizing Turkel Design’s Hangar à bateaux du lac Muskoka avec une Mention Honorable dans la catégorie Dépendances.
Situé à Port Carling, en Ontario, le hangar à bateaux du lac Muskoka est une structure utilitaire épurée fabriquée principalement à partir de bois approprié à la région. Selon Architecte, it “introduces a streamlined, modern typology to these oft-banal structures.” Prefabricated off-site using Turkel Design’s processus de signature, the boathouse “creates a precedent for efficient and thoughtful building under tight regulations and along sensitive coastlines.”
